SEATrails

Overview

Throughout Southeast Alaska, there are more miles of trails than roads. The SEATrails program maintains 75 trails throughout Southeast Alaska’s many remote communities. SEATrails promotes the use of the Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS), recognized as an All-American Road by the National Scenic Byways Program. This combination of stunning views, thriving communities, and boundless wildness are a potent and perfect combination for any traveller looking to experience culture, history, wildlife, and all that Southeast Alaska has to offer.

Fly into Juneau and explore Alaska’s capital, settle into the rainforest with delicious coffees, stunning hikes for adventurers of all levels, and close out your day with a delicious meal and craft beer. Then take the ferry to Gustavus and spend the weekend in Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, one of the least visited national parks in the United States. Explore the SEATrails Website for more options or check out these trip ideas.
